୧: କଶ୍ୟପ ମୁନିଙ୍କର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଦିତି ଓ ଅଦିତିଙ୍କର ଗର୍ଭଜାତ ଦେବ ଓ ଦୈତ୍ୟଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଏକତମ —

୧. A son of the sage Kaṡyapa, born of one of his ୨ wives, Diti and Aditi (the former giving birth to demons and the latter to Gods.)
