ପରର ଅନିଷ୍ଟ— ସାଧନ ପାଇଁ ଆପଣାକୁ କଷ୍ଟ ଦେଇ ବିବେକ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ଭାବରେ କରାଯିବା ତପସ୍ୟା (ଭଗବଦ୍ଗୀତା ୧୭/ ୧୯: ) —Penance or austerities practised against one's conscience for injuring another by undergoing personal privations.
