୧. ସଂସାରୀର ତିନିଗୋଟି ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ, ଯଥା—ଧର୍ମ, ଅର୍ଥ ଓ କାମ — ୧. The three pursuits or desires of a worldly man, viz, virtue, welth, and desires.

୨. ସୃଷ୍ଟି, ସ୍ଥିତି ଓ ଲୟ — ୨. Creation; preservation destruction.

୩. ସତ୍ତ୍ୱ, ରାଜଃ ଓ ତମଃ —୩. The three primary qualities of Nature (good, medium and evil).

୪. ତ୍ରିଫଳା —୪. The three myrobalans.

୫. ତ୍ରିକଟୁ —୫. The three pungent drugs.

୬. ଆୟୁ, ସ୍ଥିତି ଓ ବ୍ୟୟ — ୬. Income; saving and expenditure.
