[ସମ୍ପାଦନା]- ୧. ସନ୍ନ୍ୟାସ ଆଶ୍ରମର ଚିହ୍ନ; ଏକତ୍ରୀକୃତ ତିନି ଖଣ୍ଡ ଯଷ୍ଟି; ସନ୍ନ୍ୟାସୀମାନେ କାନ୍ଧରେ ବହନ କରିବା ଖଣ୍ଡିଏ ବଡ଼ ଯଷ୍ଟିର ଅଗ୍ର ଭାଗରେ ଆଉ ଦୁଇ ଖଣ୍ଡ ଛୋଟ କାଠି ବନ୍ଧା ହୋଇଥିବା ଦଣ୍ଡ —୧. A staff with a cross attached at the top, carried by a class of ascetics; the sacred triple staff of an ascetic.
- ୨. ମନ, ବାକ୍ୟ ଓ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ନିଗ୍ରହ; ମନଃସଂଯମ, ବାକ୍ ସଂଯମ ଓ ଦେହସଂଯମ —୨. Control over one's thoughts, words and actions; triple self control
