[ସମ୍ପାଦନା]ପୂର୍ବ କାଳରେ ଚାହାଳିର ଆବଧାନମାନେ ବାଳକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଉଥିବା ଏକପ୍ରକାର ଦଣ୍ଡ [ଏଥିରେ ଅପରାଧୀ ଆପଣାର ଗୋ଼ଟିଏ ହାତରେ ନାକ ପୁଡ଼ାକୁ ଚିପି ଧରିଥାଏ ଓ ଆଉ ଗୋଟିଏ ହାତରେ ଚୁଟିକୁ ଧରିଥାଏ ଓ ବାରଂବାର ଉଠୁଥାଏ ଓ ବସୁଥାଏ —A punishment formerly given to boys by the village teacher, consxisting of the boy being made to sit down and stand up successively while holding his nose with one hand and his tuft of hair on the head with the other.
