[ସମ୍ପାଦନା]ବ୍ରହ୍ମ ହତ୍ୟା, ସୁରାପାନ, ବ୍ରହ୍ମସ୍ୱ ହରଣ, ଗୁରୁ ପତ୍ନୀ ଗମନ ଓ ଉପରୋକ୍ତ ପାପରେ ଲିପ୍ତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ସହିତ ବାସ— ରୂପ ୫ ଗୋଟି ଗୁରୁତର ପାପ (ମନୁସଂହିତା ୧୧ ୫୪: ) — The five great sins (viz. murdering a Brāhmaṇa, drinking spirits, stealing from a Brāhmaṇa, adultery with the of one's elders and association With the above ୪ classes of offenders.
