ଘରର ଚାଳ ପବନରେ ଉଡ଼ି ନ ଯିବ ବୋଲି ଚାଳର ଉପର ପାଖରେ ଓ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଅଂଶରେ ବନ୍ଧାଯିବା ଛୋଟଛୋଟ ବତା —Pieces of split bamboo tied over the thatch of a house so that it may not be blow away by the wind.
