(ଉଦ୍ଭିଦ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ) ବୀଜର ଯେଉଁ ଅଂଶ ନିମ୍ନ ଦିଗକୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧିପାଇ ଚେରରୂପେ ଭୂମିରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରେ —(Botany) The radicle; that part of the seed which on vegetaing become the root and shoots downwards.
